amule-common software package provides common files for the rest of aMule packages, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install amule-common
amule-common is installed in your system.
Make ensure the amule-common package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep amule-common *
You will get with amule-common package name, version, architecture and description in a table
