ampliconnoise software package provides removal of noise from 454 sequenced PCR amplicons, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ampliconnoise
ampliconnoise is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ampliconnoise package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ampliconnoise *
You will get with ampliconnoise package name, version, architecture and description in a table
