alsaplayer-jack software package provides PCM player designed for ALSA (JACK output module), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install alsaplayer-jack
alsaplayer-jack is installed in your system.
Make ensure the alsaplayer-jack package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep alsaplayer-jack *
You will get with alsaplayer-jack package name, version, architecture and description in a table
