akonadi-dbg software package provides debugging symbols for the Akonadi PIM storage service, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install akonadi-dbg
akonadi-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the akonadi-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep akonadi-dbg *
You will get with akonadi-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
