bootcd-i386 software package provides bootcd extension to create images that can boot on i386, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install bootcd-i386
bootcd-i386 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the bootcd-i386 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep bootcd-i386 *
You will get with bootcd-i386 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
