How to uninstall or remove biblatex software package from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

You can uninstall or removes an installed biblatex package itself from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove biblatex 

Uninstall biblatex including dependent package

If you would like to remove biblatex and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove biblatex 
Use Purging biblatex

If you use with purge options to biblatex package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge biblatex 

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove biblatex
