balance software package provides Load balancing solution and generic tcp proxy, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install balance
balance is installed in your system.
Make ensure the balance package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep balance *
You will get with balance package name, version, architecture and description in a table
