How to uninstall or remove armada-backlight software package from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

You can uninstall or removes an installed armada-backlight package itself from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove armada-backlight

Uninstall armada-backlight including dependent package

If you would like to remove armada-backlight and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove armada-backlight

Use Purging armada-backlight

If you use with purge options to armada-backlight package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge armada-backlight

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove armada-backlight
