How to Install arduino software package in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

arduino software package provides AVR development board IDE and built-in libraries, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install arduino 

arduino is installed in your system.

Make ensure the arduino package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep arduino *

You will get with arduino package name, version, architecture and description in a table
