How to uninstall or remove agtl software package from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

You can uninstall or removes an installed agtl package itself from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove agtl 

Uninstall agtl including dependent package

If you would like to remove agtl and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove agtl 
Use Purging agtl

If you use with purge options to agtl package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge agtl 

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove agtl
