How to uninstall or remove adduser software package from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

You can uninstall or removes an installed adduser package itself from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove adduser 

Uninstall adduser including dependent package

If you would like to remove adduser and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove adduser 
Use Purging adduser

If you use with purge options to adduser package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge adduser 

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove adduser
