How to uninstall or remove acidbase software package from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

You can uninstall or removes an installed acidbase package itself from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove acidbase 

Uninstall acidbase including dependent package

If you would like to remove acidbase and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove acidbase 
Use Purging acidbase

If you use with purge options to acidbase package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge acidbase 

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove acidbase
