How to uninstall or remove acetoneiso software package from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

You can uninstall or removes an installed acetoneiso package itself from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove acetoneiso

Uninstall acetoneiso including dependent package

If you would like to remove acetoneiso and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove acetoneiso

Use Purging acetoneiso

If you use with purge options to acetoneiso package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge acetoneiso

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove acetoneiso
