How to uninstall or remove abi-compliance-checker software package from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

You can uninstall or removes an installed abi-compliance-checker package itself from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove abi-compliance-checker 

Uninstall abi-compliance-checker including dependent package

If you would like to remove abi-compliance-checker and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove abi-compliance-checker 
Use Purging abi-compliance-checker

If you use with purge options to abi-compliance-checker package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge abi-compliance-checker 

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove abi-compliance-checker
