How to uninstall or remove a2jmidid software package from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

You can uninstall or removes an installed a2jmidid package itself from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove a2jmidid 

Uninstall a2jmidid including dependent package

If you would like to remove a2jmidid and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove a2jmidid 
Use Purging a2jmidid

If you use with purge options to a2jmidid package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge a2jmidid 

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove a2jmidid
