How to Install node-rdkafka software package in NPM Packages

node-rdkafka : Node.js bindings for librdkafka. You can installing node-rdkafka npm packages, there are two ways to install this module locally and globaly. -g option is specified to global. Execute the below command.

$ sudo npm install node-rdkafka
$ sudo npm install -g node-rdkafka

If want to update the node-rdkafka package execute the command as below,

$ sudo npm update node-rdkafka

Update package globally,

$ npm install -g node-rdkafka

Git clone:

$ sudo  git clone https://github.com/rektide/node-rdkafka.git
$ sudo  npm install -g ./node-rdkafka

node-rdkafka@2.2.0 /usr/lib/node_modules/node-rdkafka

How to remove node-rdkafka package :

You can uninstall or remove this package from your node_modules run the command as below,

$ sudo npm uninstall node-rdkafka
