jpegtran-bin : jpegtran (part of libjpeg-turbo) bin-wrapper that makes it seamlessly available as a local dependency. You can installing jpegtran-bin npm packages, there are two ways to install this module locally and globaly. -g option is specified to global. Execute the below command.
$ sudo npm install jpegtran-bin $ sudo npm install -g jpegtran-bin
If want to update the jpegtran-bin package execute the command as below,
$ sudo npm update jpegtran-bin
Update package globally,
$ npm install -g jpegtran-bin
$ sudo git clone https://github.com/rektide/jpegtran-bin.git
$ sudo npm install -g ./jpegtran-bin
jpegtran-bin@3.2.0 /usr/lib/node_modules/jpegtran-bin
You can uninstall or remove this package from your node_modules run the command as below,
$ sudo npm uninstall jpegtran-bin
